What is it?
It’s new group for NVC learners interested in deepening their consciousness through learning and practice. My desire is to create a space that provides a safety and inspiration space where our jackals roam freely as we increase our proficiency at lovingly transforming them into lovely long-necked giraffes! I’m calling it a Six-Week Practice-Learning Community.
Location
My new place (1945 2nd Ave Apt D San Diego/92101). It’s quieter than my old pad and I’ve created a meeting room intended to provide calm and inspiration!
It’s a Practice-Learning Group not a Practice Group
I have led past practice groups with a laser-beam focus on the moment and the life therein. I’m wanting a change in this as well (novelty is a powerful need). I intend to use about one-third to one-half of the time for guided learning experiences based on members’ interests (Grok Cards, Dance Floor, and others) and focus the remaining time on “in-the-moment” issues.
It’s a Six-Week Community Experience, Not a Drop-in Group
After over one-year of holding open groups (available to all on a walk-in basis), I’m wanting a change. I believe the trust and community that develop when working with a small group of people consistently aids in the learning and, certainly, the depth of connection. I’m wanting a group of at least six learners each with the intent to attend at least 5 of the 6 meetings.
*Gift
I have resolved to ensure that MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE for people who are interested in working with me. I am also clear that I want to meet some portion of my needs for support through this work. I envision a range of $75 to $100 total for the six weeks as a starting point for what I’d enjoy receiving. If you would not enjoy giving an amount in that range, I would like to work with you to find alternatives. I have enjoyed creating “exchanges” of skills that both parties value as a supplement or replacement to financial support.
