Peace is a Choice: Maintaining Compassion in a Troubled World (in Phoenix)
October 21| $99 - $129
By peace we mean the capacity to transform conflicts with empathy, without violence, and creatively — a never-ending process. ~ Johan Galtung
A one-day interactive workshop on bridging the intention for peace with concrete action to create a better world based on the simple wisdom of the Compassionate (Nonviolent) Communication Model.
The morning session will focus on the intention of the model: To share our power with others. The afternoon session will explore empathy for oneself and others as practical tools to bring this intention to life in our day-to-day interactions.
For those with Compassionate Communication (NVC) experience or those new to the process.
Lunch is not provided. There is a Sprouts marketplace, McDonald’s, Panda Express and Jimmy John’s in the area. Go to this link for a Google Map of the area with restaurants.
